In 2011, Leighton Contractors acquired a majority shareholding in Delron Group Facility Services and its subsidiary company, Delron Cleaning Pty Ltd (Delron).
Delron is a Perth-based facility services company which provides cleaning and other facility services to clients in the education, Defence, health, government, mining and commercial sectors. Major clients include Alcoa, TransWA, Commonwealth Bank, Curtin University and Department of Education. The acquisition adds to Leighton Contractors’ existing healthcare and social infrastructure-sector expertise and is part of the strategy to enhance Leighton Contractors’ capabilities in this growing sector.
